Compare a Sleep Number Bed

If sleeping is a problem for you then maybe it is time for you to purchase a new bed or mattress. One thing that you can do is to compare sleep number bed with other different styles of beds. Not getting enough sleep or a proper night's sleep can affect your performance throughout the day and it could cause problems with your health as well.

You may have seen commercials on television promoting the various beds available on the market. To compare a sleep number bed with any other style of bed requires you to do some research and information gathering. The sleep number bed allows you to adjust the firmness to the level you want while other types of beds do not have this feature. There are many different options available when it comes to the type of mattress on the market. You can find mattresses that are made from memory foam, coils and springs or even water or air.

Every company that promotes their mattress or bed will say that theirs is the best. It is up to you the consumer to determine what is best for you within your budget. One of the best ways to compare sleep number bed with another type of bed is to actually try them out yourself. Some retailers will allow you to test their mattresses in the store, while others will let you take one home for a period of thirty days for example to properly test it out under normal sleep conditions.

A great place to gather information while you compare sleep number bed against other types of beds is to browse the online forums and consumer reviews on beds and mattresses. You will not find a mattress that is one hundred percent popular. People have their own opinions so just be careful when considering peoples opinions online. Another important point to research is the warranty that the manufacturer offers. A good company will stand behind their product. If price is a factor for you, keep an eye out for sales or discounts offered at the local retailers or warehouse outlets. Good luck on your research and hopefully your new mattress will provide a much better nights sleep.

Bed Reviews and Ratings - How Do Memory Foam, Air, Latex and Innerspring Compare

If you are looking for bed reviews and ratings, you are in the right place because I have some important data to share with you.

My research team has conducted extensive bed research by gathering data from over 3,100 bed owners. This article covers the various kinds of beds in order of how they scored in our research.

Latex

Latex beds overall had the best score. About 90% of latex bed owners communicated that their mattress was comfortable in their opinion. Our research suggests that latex beds tend to have a smaller number of downsides than other bed types. Case in point, latex generally has good toughness and tends to not make the sleeper hot or give off a chemical smell initially, at least not as much as most other bed types. Further, a latex bed can be custom crafted to satisfy your personal firmness-level liking.

Memory (Visco-elastic) Foam

Memory foam beds overall scored behind latex beds and about equally to airbeds. Around 85% of memory foam bed owners indicated that they found their bed to be comfortable. The open cell structure of memory foam means it can equally support and contour to every part of the body.

Air

Air beds, like the Sleep Number Bed, scored nearly the same as memory foam mattresses. Air bed owners indicated that they appreciate the reduced pressure points that the air provides as well as the ability to change the firmness by increasing or decreasing air in the bed via an electric pump.

Innerspring Coil

Innerspring beds overall scored at the bottom. Around 55% of innerspring bed owners indicated that their bed provides good comfort. The shortcoming of these beds centers around sagging, in which peaks and valleys appear within just a few years of purchase and work to undermine comfort and support.
