How much sleep do I need?

Many people ask: "How much sleep do I need to function optimally? But unfortunately there is no simple answer to that. The amount of sleep you need depends on a number of possible factors including, age, genetic makeup, the amount of exercise you get what you do during the day, to grow the quality of sleep and if you do.

The older we get, the less sleep we need. The optimal amount of sleep for mostAdults is around 7 to 8 hours per night. Although, as I said, it really varies from person to person, some people need as little as 4 hours or up to 10 hours of sleep per night. Our biological clocks run on a 25-hour cycle, when the 24 hours we have our daily lives to vote. For this reason, it is easier for most people go to bed later, than it is to get up early.

Many people have no problems sleeping at all and maybe even sleep excessively andstill feel tired. What is important to note that it is not the quantity of sleep achieved, but the quality of sleep.

In fact, you can always sleep longer than you think, not just the quality and restorative sleep. This could be due to its tension, stress, worrying thoughts or bad sleep habits such as excessive mental or physical exertion near bedtime .
